Ravens Fans Selling Super Bowl Tickets to Raise Money for Charity

In an effort to give back to a Baltimore non-profit, Wayne Ruth and his wife are giving up their coveted Super Bowl tickets.
Shortly after the couple bought their tickets for $850 a piece, they decided they couldn't keep them. Instead, the couple decided to place the tickets on Ebay. They set up an auction and are asking for $3,500 for the pair.
One hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to Sarah's Hope, an emergency shelter in Baltimore City that services homeless women and children.
"It was natural that we asked whoever the eventual purchaser of the tickets to make the check out payable to Sarah's Hope," said Ruth.
"One part of me is like shocked because I didn't know he was doing this," said Sheila Matthews, Sarah's Hope Director. "So, it's like what a wonderful gift."
The winner will be announced Thursday. If the tickets do not sell, Ruth said he will go to New Orleans and give it to someone at a non-profit organization he partners with there.
