Which side do you agree with?

When a six-time convicted felon knocked on the door of two Gonzaga University students demanding money, student Dan McIntosh drew his weapon (for which he has a concealed weapons permit) and the felon fled. The students later told police they knew he was going to force his way into their apartment. Now they are facing expulsion because the student handbook says students may not have handguns on campus or university owned property. McIntosh says he did not know it was in violation of school policy at the time.
