Man Arrested and Charged Glen Burnie Fatal Shooting

Updated: Sunday, September 15 2013, 11:06 PM EDT
On September 15th, just before two o’clock in the morning members of the Anne Arundel County Police Department responded to a home in Glen Burnie for a shooting.

Police officers arrived to find Kendall Green, 25, deceased on the front porch of the home. Officers learned that Green was shot by Matthew Pinkerton, 34, the homeowner.

The Criminal Investigation Division’s Homicide Unit’s investigation revealed that the Green and Pinkerton knew each other. Green was shot by Pinkerton at some point after being invited into the home.

Currently the motive of the shooting is still being investigated, but early indications are that this was a domestic related situation.

Pinkerton has been arrested and charged with 2nd degree murder, manslaughter, and use of a handgun under the commission of a felony/violent crime. Man Arrested and Charged Glen Burnie Fatal Shooting
