FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY

A FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY has been issued for Northwestern Howard and Carroll Counties through midnight Monday night.  Patchy sleet and light freezing rain, mixed with rain, are possible through the evening.  Although little or no widespread accumulation is expected, bridges, overpasses, and lesser traveled roads could receive a light glaze.  Drive with extra care.

Police Presser on Triple Fatal Accident

One person remains in critical condition Tuesday afternoon after two cars collided during a police chase and killed three. The crash happened shortly after 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of York Road and East North Parkway in northern Baltimore.

A witness on the scene told FOX45 he saw the only survivor of the deadly crash stumble from a burning car and collapse. The witness also said he saw officers trying to pull people from the wreckage.

The chase began as officers pursued a Honda. The Honda sped off and was later hit by a Jeep at the intersection. Two inside the Honda were killed and a female passenger in the Jeep also died. The driver of the Jeep is in critical condition.

One witness at the scene was also injured and transported to a local hospital by ambulance.

The crash shut down the intersection for hours Tuesday morning as investigators studied the scene. The cars were towed away approximately nine and a half hours after the crash.
