Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake will speak at the "300 Men March" on Friday evening, an anti-violence initiative denouncing crime in Baltimore City.
The mayor and members of the community will walk through Baltimore City neighborhoods that have been the scene of high-levels of gun violence. The march begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the intersection of North Avenue and Hilton Street.
The participants will then march North Avenue from west to east. It is the second annual walk. So far this year, Baltimore City has had 105 homicides, compared with 121 this time last year.
