Baltimore County police say they're investigating an incident that was filmed on a cell phone in which an officer can be heard yelling at the cameraman and telling him to "shut your f---ing mouth, or you're going to jail."
In the video an officer gets just inches from the face of college student Sergio Gutierrez, hurling profanity-laced threats. At one point Gutierrez said an officer grabbed his hair and shoved him against a wall, twisting his arm behind his back.
Gutierrez can be heard saying several times, "I have my rights!" as he continues to film.
When the student asks about his freedom of speech a cop replies, "You don't, you've just lost it."
At one point an officer says, "Do you see the police presence here? Do you see us all, we're not f---ing around, do you understand? Do not disrespect us and do not not listen to us. Now walk away and shut your f---ing mouth or you're going to jail."
Some of the officers in the video are sworn Baltimore County police, while others are auxiliary officers. While Maryland State Police were on the scene they have referred all questions to the county on the matter.
