Updated: Thursday, August 28 2014, 11:56 AM EDT

A 56-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Robert Morris.

On Tuesday evening officers responded to a call for a cutting at Old York Road and Willow Ave. The victim, Robert Morris, was found stabbed multiple times.

Responding officers followed a blood trail and located Michael Elliott armed with a knife. He was arrested and is being held at the Baltimore City Detention Center.

Police investigation found that the victim and suspect were involved in an argument regarding the victim coming into the suspect’s backyard. Police say the suspect produced a steak knife and stabbed the victim multiple times in the neck and torso.

According to charging documents, prior to leaving the crime scene the suspect said out loud, “The b**** came into my yard, the b**** got dealt with in my yard.”
