Maryland officials are signing an agreement with the National Institute of Standards and Technology to boost cybersecurity development in the state.
Gov. Martin O'Malley and Sen. Barbara Mikulski are scheduled to join acting Undersecretary of Commerce Patrick Gallagher at a news conference on Tuesday in Annapolis.
Montgomery County Executive Isiah Leggett also is scheduled to attend.
The O'Malley administration says the agreement will strengthen the National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence.
