A Baltimore man has been charged with sexually abusing two young girls, one of them paralyzed, in their Curtis Bay home.
According to charging documents, 39-year-old Charles Nickens sexually abused two young girls after they moved in with their aunt; Nickens was a live-in boyfriend.
A 9-year-old paralyzed girl told detectives she was abused almost every day when she was between six-and-seven years of age. She is paralyzed from the waist-down; Nickens often asked her to scoot down the basement steps where he abused her.
The older girl said Nickens offered to pay her $20 to perform fellatio on him and when she refused, he threatened to kill her and her family with a machete he was holding.
Both victims stated the abuse stopped after their mother moved into the house.
Police have charged Nickens with many offenses including Rape, Sex Offense, Assault, Sex Abuse of a Minor, and Child Abuse.
