Shoplifter Slashes Employee with Knife While Fleeing Glen Burnie Store

On Wednesday at approximately 2:14 p.m. officers responded to the Sears Store at the Marley Station Mall in Glen Burnie and met with an employee over a shoplifting incident.
The employee told officers that after they detained a person for shoplifting he swung a knife at one of the employees, resulting in a small laceration to his head. The suspect then fled the store.
Officers searched the area but could not find the suspect. He is described a white male in his 30s, 5'8," 5'10," with a medium build, fair complexion with black short hair and unshaven wearing navy blue jeans/pants, blue/red/white plaid shirt, black shoes, black Orioles baseball cap.
