The trial of three religious cult members accused of starving a toddler to death has been postponed until January.

The fourth defendant, Marcus Cobbs, will have his case heard Friday. Cobbs and another suspect were indicted last week on new charges of accessory after the fact.

21-month-old Javon Thompson went missing in 2006, and a year later his body was found in a suitcase in Philadelphia.

In total, five members of "One Mind Ministries" have been charged in his death, including the boy's mother.

The mother, Ria Ramkissoon will be with the prosecution when she finally heads to court.

She pleaded guilty to child abuse resulting in death in March and has agreed to testify against the other cult members.

The cult's leader, Queen Antoinette, and another member, Trevia Williams, are acting as their own attorneys in this first degree murder trial.
