Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon opened up Wednesday about her upcoming trial and addressed speculation regarding her resignation.
Jury selection is set to begin Monday, and Dixon says she has no intention of stepping down from her duties as mayor while she's on trial.
Dixon is accused of stealing gift cards donated for needy families. She has denied all wrongdoing. If convicted, she would be thrown out of office.
On Wednesday, prosecutors filed a motion seeking to bar Dixon's lawyers from introducing evidence of her accomplishments as mayor, calling such evidence "irrelevant."
