WBFF - Crime & Justice - Alleged Child Sex Offenders in Position of Trust - Joy Lepola
Police are investigating two recent cases of child sex abuse, in which the suspects were considered trustworthy caretakers.

Experts say it's not uncommon for sex offenders to surround themselves with children.

A volunteer assistant soccer coach at St. Ursula Catholic Church in Parkville was arrested this week on charges of molesting a 9-year-old girl.

Alexander Sims also volunteered with two church-affiliated Cub Scout troops, and Baltimore County police fear there may be other victims.

And in Howard County, a special education teaching assistant is accused of sexually abusing two children.

Karl Walker, 28, worked at Bryant Woods Elementary school in Columbia.
