WBFF - Crime & Justice - No Bail for Suspects in Fatal Crash - Joy Lepola
A judge has denied bail for two men accused of fleeing from police and crashing into an elderly couple's car, killing the father of a Baltimore officer.

Umar Burley, 29, and Brent Matthews, 26, were arrested on drug charges Wednesday in Northwest Baltimore after crashing into a Chevrolet Monte Carlo driven by 86-year-old Elbert Davis.

Davis died of a heart attack after the crash. His 81-year-old wife, Phosa Cain, remains hospitalized. Family members say she still doesn't know that her husband was killed in the crash.

Court documents show both suspects have criminal records. Burley escaped conviction on federal gun charges just last year.
