WBFF - Crime & Justice - Two Arrests in Murder of Hopkins Research Tech - Joy Lepola
Police have arrested two people in the murder of a 23-year-old Johns Hopkins research technician who was stabbed to death during a robbery in Charles Village.

Stephen Pitcairn was stabbed in the chest at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday in the 2600 block of St. Paul Street.

He was attacked while walking home from Penn Station and talking to his mother on a cell phone.

Lavelva Merritt, 24, and John Alexander Wagner, 34, have been arrested in the crime. Wagner has a history of robbery charges, and Merritt has several drug convictions.
