Doctors have nicknamed a baby girl "Miracle" after she was reportedly placed in a plastic bag and tossed out a second-floor window by her own mother.
The infant was discharged Wednesday from the GBMC Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Police say 21-year-old Rebecca Himes gave birth in the bathroom of her home Thursday and threw the baby out the window into some bushes.
Police were called after Himes' younger sister found the infant. The baby is in the custody of the Department of Social Services.
