IN THE NEWS: CRAIGSLIST URGED TO DUMP ADULT SERVICES FOR GOOD

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) -- Craigslist continues to be under pressure to get rid of its adult services section once and for all. The online classified site recently posted the words "censored" over the section for adult ads, after being criticized for promoting prostitution. Now Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal and national nonprofit organizations say they want to see Craigslist go a step further. They want confirmation that the site is out of the adult services business for good -- and they want the site to stop accepting similar ads in hundreds of countries around the world. Blumenthal says he wrote a letter to the site calling for it to be "a model for good policy" and get rid of adult services for good.

In a tweet, Google suggested there was some exciting news this week -- but didn't say what.
