Do you support the health reform bill passed by the Senate Finance Committee?
Comment: I don't feel that the government should be allowed to force people to buy health insurance if they can't afford it. from Taneytown, MD by Lois
Comment: If they used Medicare as an example of government intrusion, then this plan should not be passed. They don't have a hold on Medicare and how can they have a hold on extending coverage to millions of others. We have far more pressing issues to work out before they work on something that will spiral out of control. from Bel Air, MD by Anna Marie
Comment: I'm a retiree who worked long and hard to get the health coverage my employer provided me. I shouldn't have to let that be for naught. from Pasadena, Md. by Tony
Comment: If you think health care is expensive now, just wait until it's free! A perfect example of government health care in action, are Veteran's hospitals around this country. The absolute worst places in the nation to go for medical care!
That's their standard! I'm scared. Don't get sick! from Kent Island, MD by Buddy
Comment: Can anyone tell me ONE thing the government has operated that saved money and did not create a large deficit? Examples of good government run operations are Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, S-Chip, Post Office, Immigration control, and so on. All large deficits and now they want to control Health Care covering more people at lower cost with more coverage and no exclusion for preexisting conditions. I'm still laughing but I really should be crying when I see what this government is doing to this country. from Catonsville by Dan
Comment: No. It's a political disaster that will tax "working Americans" and their children, and their children's children, etc. There was absolutely no thought put in to this debacle. from Westminster, MD by Michael
Comment: It's a Two-bill: Too many flaws Too expensive from Eldersburg, MD by Eddy
Comment: It is too expensive, it costs
a ton of money and solves a
very little percentage of the
problems at hand, and will
actually harm hospitals and
providers, particularly within
the realm of Medicare
reimbursement. from Sykesville / Maryland by Jarred
