Internship Opportunities

Students of Journalism, Communications, Television Production, Marketing, Graphic Arts and related areas are eligible for consideration for an unpaid internship opportunity. Our internship program requires that college credit is earned and students must have prior approval from their college. You must be enrolled as a college junior or senior in order to qualify for an internship with our stations, and show proof that you have approval from your school.

The departments that accept internships are as follows:

  • News (includes news, weather, sports, photojournalism, editing, etc.)
  • Promotions
  • Public Relations / Community Service
  • Production
  • Sales

Send a resume and cover letter to us more than two months prior to your desired internship time, please be sure to include your area of interest in your cover letter. Mail resumes to:

If chosen you will also be required to submit work samples such as writing projects, audio or videotapes, required forms from your college, SBG internship application and a copy of your college's internship guidelines.
