JESSICA STARR joined FOX45 as the weekend Weather Anchor and weekday Hometown Hot Spot Reporter in June 2007.

Jessica began her weather broadcasting career interning at two different TV station in Detroit, Michigan. (WDIV-NBC-Channel 4 and WJBK-FOX 2) She attended Michigan State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography with specialization in Climatology. Jessica received her first on-air position at WLNS -CBS Channel 6 in Lansing, Michigan as the Weekend Morning Meteorologist. While working at WLNS, Jessica also traveled nation-wide as an auto show product specialist representing the Toyota Motor Corporation. Before coming to WBFF-FOX 45, she was working as a freelance Chief Meteorologist at WKAG-Channel 3 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Jessica is continuing her meteorology education though Mississippi State University where she will soon receive her certification in Broadcast Meteorology. She will also be applying for her AMS seal this coming winter.

Jessica not only loves forecasting the weather and being  part of a community, she truly enjoys getting her viewers excited about the science aspect of meteorology.
