STEVE LEVINE is the Crime & Justice Investigative Reporter for Fox 45. He joined Fox Baltimore in January 2006.

Steve's investigations have resulted in several national recalls, crooked contractors being sent to jail, and hundreds of thousands of dollars returned to ripped off consumers. His work has also led to several bills being introduced by state lawmakers.

Steve caught the news bug as a young child, when he tagged along with his grandmother and uncle who loved to speed to the scene of breaking news stories they heard on their police scanner.

A graduate of Ohio University's E.W Scripps School of Journalism, Steve has also worked in Ohio, West Virginia, and most recently Rochester, New York.

Following the September 11th terrorist attacks Steve reported live just blocks from Ground Zero. He's also been on the presidential campaign trail, covered the Clinton Inauguration, and reported during the great northeast blackout of 2003.

Steve has been honored by the Associated Press for investigative Reporting, enterprise reporting, spot news, and continuing coverage of an issue. He was also honored by The Radio Television News Directors Association for Investigative Reporting.

He's also been active with The National Center For Missing And Exploited Children's Center and the Special Olympics.

Steve lives in Mt. Washington with his wife Sharon.

Feel free to e-mail Steve with any story ideas or areas you'd like to see investigated or call the Crime & Justice Hotline at 410-662-1456.
