Updated: Thursday, October 31 2013, 02:33 PM EDT

The Baltimore Ravens have cut veteran safety Michael Huff and defensive end Marcus Spears. The team also promoted Omar Brown and Brynden Trawick from practice squad to the active roster.

Brown originally signed with the Ravens as a rookie free agent in May 2012. Trawick signed with the Ravens as a rookie free agent in May 2013.

Spears thanked his fans for their support on Twitter Wednesday morning.

"Bmore it's been real thank you all for the support!" Spears wrote. "I'm moving on you guys made this experience great for me and my Family."

On Wednesday all 53 were practicing, which Harbaugh noted is a first for the 2013 season.
