Updated: Wednesday, April 9 2014, 07:32 PM EDT
BALTIMORE, MD - Ana Bogdanovski a junior from Johns Hopkins, was named the 2014 DIII Woman of the Year nominee for swimming & diving as announced by Executive Director Chris Voelz of THE Collegiate Women Sports Awards (CWSA) presented by Honda. She is now designated one of 11 finalists for the prestigious DIII Woman Athlete of the Year honor. This will be voted on at the end of the academic year by national balloting among 1,000 NCAA member schools as part of THE CWSA program, now in its 38th year.

A native of Fanwood, NJ, Bogdanovski was named the Collegiate Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Division III Swimmer of the Year and helped lead the Blue Jays to a program-best third-place finish at the 2014 NCAA Championship. She earned seven All-America nods in the meet and now has 17 All-America honors as a junior.

Bogdanovski won national titles in the 50 freestyle and 200 freestyle and went on to set school records in six events, including three relays. She was a member of four of the five relay teams that swept the podium at the NCAA Championship and anchored three of the teams in come-from-behind victories. It was the first time since 2004 that a school claimed all five relay titles. Her national title in the 800 free relay last year gives her seven career NCAA titles overall.
