Maryland Terps Upset Duke in ACC Tournament

Updated: Friday, March 15 2013, 10:17 PM EDT

The Terps defeated the second ranked Duke Blue Devils 83-74 in the ACC quarterfinals. It is Maryland's second win over Duke this season. Maryland guard Dez Wells scored a career-high 30 points in the victory.

They held Duke to just 4-25 from beyond the three-point line. The Terps were lights out from the floor, shooting 51 percent and 92 percent from the free throw line.

Maryland advances to the ACC semifinals. They'll play the winner of Florida State and North Carolina on Saturday at 3 p.m. That game and the entire ACC Tournament can be seen on our sister station the CW Baltimore.
