OWINGS MILLS, Md. - A total of 19 players scored at least one goal as the No. 4-ranked Stevenson men's lacrosse team set new school records for goals, shots and ground balls in a 30-0 Commonwealth Conference victory over Alvernia Saturday night at Mustang Stadium.

The Mustangs (10-1, 3-0 MAC) posted their second shutout in school history, both of which have come against Alvernia, after they defeated the Crusaders 24-0 on the road a year ago on Apr. 6, 2013.

Stevenson, who totaled 106 shots and 86 ground balls, held a 10-0 lead at the end of the first quarter after holding a 32-1 margin in shots, a 27-11 edge in ground balls and winning 10-of-11 face-offs.
