Ravens-Jets Preview

Updated: Thursday, November 21 2013, 08:06 PM EST

The Baltimore Ravens host the New York Jets on Sunday in what will be a must-win game for the Ravens. In John Harbaugh’s first five seasons as Ravens head coach, the team has made the playoffs each year winning at least one game in the post season.

Times are very different in 2013. The Ravens sit at 4-6 heading into Sunday’s matchup with the Jets (5-5). With six other teams at 4-6, the Ravens can’t afford to lose at home.

They are 3-1 at home and just 1-5 on the road. The good news is that four of their final six games are at M&T Bank Stadium.

For the second time this season, Ed Reed will be making his return to Baltimore. Reed, who spent his first 11 seasons with the Ravens, was signed by the Jets last week after being cut by the Texans. James Ihedigbo studied under Reed and understands why the Jets brought in the future hall of famer, “I know his relationship with [head coach] Rex [Ryan] and it goes back for years now. It's going to be exciting to see him once again across the field and be able to say, ‘hello’ to him and let him know how much I miss him and then go to battle."

Ravens and Jets kickoff this Sunday at 1 p.m.
