WBFF Fox Baltimore :: News Team - Adam Yosim

Adam Yosim - Reporter

Adam Yosim joined Fox Baltimore in February 2015. He was glad to make it to Charm City in one piece after traversing the icy, snowy highways of Eastern Kentucky and the mountains of West Virginia.

Adam comes to Maryland from Lexington, Kentucky where he spent three years reporting for the number one news station, LEX 18.  He covered everything from tornadoes that ravaged small communities to the contentious senate race in 2014 that included the now-Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to the Big Blue Nation celebrating their Kentucky Wildcats winning an eighth. National Title.

Adam started his reporting career in Greenville, North Carolina at WCTI NewsChannel 12. He reported on the strongest category 1 hurricane to rock Eastern Carolina as well East Carolina University going on lockdown for a report of a gunman with what looked to be an assault rifle near campus. Police would later say the weapon was just an umbrella.

At UNC Chapel Hill, Adam reported for the Emmy award-winning student television newscast "Carolina Week". His most memorable interview was when he sat down with the late Elizabeth Edwards to discuss her new furniture business and some other "business" dominating the headlines at the time. Adam remembers storming Franklin Street after the Tar Heels won the 2009 National Championship. He also made an appearance in the Tar Heel's pregame JumboTron video for two years.

Outside of journalism, Adam enjoys performing close-up magic and cooking. He's excited to explore all that Baltimore has to offer.

To Adam, journalism is more than getting the facts right: it's about telling stories that resonate with the viewer. If you have a great tip or story idea for him, send him an e-mail at abyosim@sbgtv.com.

WBFF Fox Baltimore :: News Team - Amber Miller

Amber Miller - Reporter

In 2006, Amber earned her B.A. degree from Hood College in Frederick, MD where she majored in Communication Arts with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism and minored in Theater Arts. In 2007, she moved to Syracuse, NY where she earned her M.S. degree in Broadcast Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.

Amber's career as a Multi-Media Journalist began in Shreveport, Louisiana at KTAL News, NBC 6. From there, she ventured a little closer to home, spending two years at WPMT FOX43 in Harrisburg, PA.

Her most memorable assignments put her right in the "eye of the storm" as she covered Hurricanes Gustav and Ike in Louisiana and Tropical Storm Lee in Pennsylvania. She also learned to swim on air, hoping to encourage other African Americans who do not possess the skill to follow her lead. She hoped by facing her fear she would have a small part in lowering statistics that prove fewer African Americans know how to swim when compared to their Caucasian counterparts, which leads to staggering death tolls every year.

Baltimore is home for Amber and she is elated to have the opportunity to serve her community, family, and friends.

When Amber is not on the job, she is likely to be found surrounded by family and friends. If you see her around town please stop and say hello! If you have a story idea, shoot her an email.

Keith Daniels - Reporter

Keith Daniels is a general assignment reporter for FOX45. He joined the News Team in June, 2002.

Keith has always wanted to beat the street as a general assignment reporter. Charm City was among his top five choice cities for news.

Keith has an extensive background in reporting. He left WMC in Memphis, Tennessee and went out with a punch, having covered the Mike Tyson / Lennox Lewis fight as his last assignment there. Before Memphis, there was KWTX in Waco, Texas. In fact, his career began in Texas at WFAA in Dallas as a production assistant. He quickly caught the "on-air fever" after securing the overnight anchor position. That was exciting because Dallas is his hometown. Keith hit the air not long after graduating from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.

Since then, Keith has covered several major stories, including the Beltway Sniper Attacks in our area. But one of his favorite stories took him to Northern Africa. He traveled to Morocco with a group of inner city high school kids who experienced a trip they will never forget... and neither will Keith.

WBFF Fox Baltimore :: News Team - Larry Collins

Larry Collins - Morning Reporter

Larry Collins has gathered news from New Orleans to New York City, but is proud to now call Baltimore home.

After almost a decade as a reporter and anchor at WCBD-TV in Charleston, SC, he joined the Fox 45 morning team in September 2014. Since 2000, his career has found him in the newsrooms of KALB-TV in his hometown on Alexandria, LA, WGNO in New Orleans and MTV News in New York City.

Larry considers himself a storyteller at heart and newshound by nature. An Emmy nominated and Edward R. Murrow award-winning journalist, he looks for the person at the heart of every single story.

His award-winning coverage of the destruction of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans and the deaths of 9 firefighters in a massive commercial fire in Charleston have shaped the way he handles news and life in general. He feels there is a personal responsibility that comes with telling our stories during the best and worst moments of our lives.

Every interview is important to Larry, but he will always remember his stories with President Bill Clinton, Sen. Ted Kennedy and Pastor Joel Osteen.

Personally, Larry considers himself a “junior foodie” who is always looking for great Baltimore restaurants and unique local dishes. Professional football keeps him busy on Sundays and you’ll find him cheering on the Ravens and the Saints. He is proud to be an adopted Orioles fan; having never had a favorite baseball team until moving to Baltimore.

In the summer of 2007, Paul was named the broadcast news national runner-up in the Hearst Journalism Awards Program held in San Francisco.

His interests in television started in high school, working on weekly reports for JCS-19, a local cable-access channel run by the Jefferson County Schools system.

At Marshall, Paul reported for MU Report, The Parthenon and WMUL-FM before starting an internship with WSAZ-TV. He is proud to be an alum and fan of the Thundering Herd.  No other college won more football games in the 1990s.

Paul is passionate about his favorite sports teams: the Washington Redskins, New York Mets, Washington Wizards and Washington Capitals.

The thrill of starting a story from scratch keeps him going everyday in the fast-paced business of television news.
